Out the Window

When I looked out the train window,  I saw blueberry skies and the ocean waves,l each rolling over one onto the next until eventually, they arrived on shore.

Inside the train, I admired the way the light hit each passenger differently.

Where was everyone going? Why were they taking the train? Who was married? Who had children? What kind of lives do they lead?

I wonder if  I can take the train from one day’s sunrise to the next.

I would like to continue sky gazing, people watching and exercising mindfulness the same way I did in each frame of the passing scenery of my train ride.
